Stainless Steel Square Pipe

A stainless steel square pipe is a type of metal tube that has a square cross-section and is made from stainless steel. Raw material preparation: choose appropriate stainless steel materials, generally use 304, 316 and other stainless steel parent pipes. The length of the main pipe is generally 6 meters, and the diameter depends on the required square pipe size. After the parent pipe is inspected, it is cut to the required length.

Plate Rolling: The cut parent pipe is fed into the plate rolling machine, which is gradually rolled into a square cross-section by a series of rollers. During the coiling process, it is necessary to control the position and pressure of the rollers to ensure that the mother pipe is rolled into the required specifications and dimensions. After the coiling is completed, the edges at both ends need to be cut flat for the next step of welding.

Welding: Welding is a key step in making stainless steel square tubes. Choose TIG welding or high frequency resistance welding process according to your needs. During the welding process, it is necessary to control the welding current, voltage, speed and welding head position to ensure that the welding quality meets the standard. For seamless stainless steel square tubes, it needs to be produced by cold drawing or hot rolling process.

Surface treatment: After the welding is completed, the weld seam needs to be removed to remove welding residues and surface oxides to make the surface smooth and flat. This can be done by mechanical grinding or chemical polishing. Surface treatment helps to improve the surface quality of the pipe and prevent corrosion.

Cutting: Surface-treated stainless steel square tubes can be cut to desired lengths. This can be done with a saw, wire saw, etc.

Inspection and packaging: Finally, the finished product needs to be inspected for quality, including aspects such as appearance, size, surface finish, and physical properties. The stainless steel square tubes that meet the standard will be packaged and shipped. Common packaging methods include plastic bags, cartons, and wooden boxes.
